2 - 1 Travellers

We take you on a journey to explore KL’s hidden food stops just off various train stops. From enjoying the best teh tarik (pulled tea) there is, to one of our favourite nasi lemak and not to mention our assorted local cakes - fondly known as kuih, which are either steamed or fried (made with rice flour and rich coconut milk sweetened with yummy palm sugar!). Come on a food adventure with us, literally off the rail!

On this tour, you will:
-enjoy delicious roadside local Malay cuisine such as the nasi lemak, murtabak (curry) or their famous blue rice.
-explore a local market in a Malay Reserve village and see how local traders go about their daily schedule
-see local demonstrations such as torched chickens and coconut-milk process.
-view off the beaten KL’s skyline from a different perspective, only known to locals
-Enjoy some Chinese delights such as curry noodles (yes we love our spicy food!), Hainanese chicken rice, fried koay teow and home made soya milk or herbal tea.
-stroll through the streets of an Indian Muslim commercial area where there are mainly family run businesses whose forefathers have been there since the late 1800. Have a go at the not to be missed Indian Muslim Curry Rice speciality - the Nasi Kandar!
-hear local back stories and history of Kuala Lumpur from a local’s perspective.
-sample many more snacks and delights along the way
