Enjoy an easy to intermediate bicycle ride in the scenic paddy fields, plantations and catch a glimpse of the local life in the "kampung" villages.
Based on your bicycling experience, you can select a 10km, 20km or 30 km loop, all avoiding main roads and traffic.
Expect to see places few tourists normally see!
Day 1 - 8:30
Meet and greet at the meeting point
Introduction to the tour and safety rules.
Set up the bikes for each guest.
Day 1 - 9:00
Start the tour!
Expect a few stops for pictures, explanations on the rice culture, the rubber business and local plantations.
We will also stop for snacks and drinks in a local eatery shop.
Day 1 - 12:00
End of the tour.

Why this trip?
Our main tour guide, Sandra, is an official tour guide for Malaysia. She is also the first woman who bicycled around Peninsular Malaysia and published a book to recount her adventures.
Last but not least, we provide good mountain bikes that will take you safely around the island.
Things to prepare for the trip
Good sport shoes. To get better protection from the sun, long sleeve t-shirts and long-pants/cycling pants are recommended, along with good sun protection cream. Please bring along a small day-pack for your personal items.

How to get there
By your own transportation, expect 20 to 25 minutes from Cenang beach, 10 to 15 minutes from Kuah. If you don't have a phone GPS (e.g. Waze, Google Map, ...), we will send you detailed driving information from your hotel to the starting point.
No transportation? You can Grab or use a local taxi from your location, just mention Pak Raja Villas in Ulu Melaka.
Parking available on the road-side next to the meeting point.
Tours will still happen in case of rain as shelters are available along the trail to wait for the rain to stop.
However, heavy rains with thunderstorms represent a safety hazard. In that case, tours will be rescheduled based on availability of both guests and hosts.
