A beautiful small island that you never knew existed
As one of the Malaysia’s island. Pulau Aman was always left out from people’s knowledge (including me, before this). Turns out, that island hold a beautiful phenomenon, interesting activities and mouth-watering food.
Food? yes it’s the local food, Mee Udang (Prawn Mee) that outstands Pulau Aman the most. According to the local, there are even some foreigners that come to Pulau Aman just to eat the signature; Mee Udang’s dish. So, if you want to have a slurp-ie taste how the Mee Udang’s with the strong taste from the prawn’s taste, you surely should come to the Pulau Aman. And to those who are not really a Mee-guy, Char Kue Teow and others as your rescue.
Operating Hours: 8.00am – 8.00pm

To get there, nab a boat from the Batu Musang’s Jetty and cruise past some the sea and you can imagine yourself in PIRATES IN THE CARIBBEAN’s movie as according to legend, in the past, pirates would climb up to the peak of the island to watch for trade ships because you can get a perfect bird’s eye view from the top of Pulau Aman.
As for the Island, you will feel as if you’re in a real-life movie: powder-white beaches, traditional houses, and even the oldest breadfruit trees in the country (it was planted in 1890). And for those who wonder how it taste like, surprisingly it tastes like a bread (Breadfruit taste like a bread, okay that is new to me) or maybe pretty much like a sweet potato. We don’t know, go there and give your own description.
From far, the island resembles a mountain, and is packed with lush trees, wooded spaces, but it actually not how it looks like. There’s so much more inside. They provide you with interesting activities, souvenirs, and there’s even kampung-stay (village stay) theme vacation if you want to experience temporarily living there.
There you go, one of the island that you might want to reconsider for the your next vacation.
